AR brick are for use where lower absorption and higher acid resistance are required.

Excellent resistance to attack from a wide range of chemicals including concentrated mineral acids (except hydrofluoric) .

It has high wearing properties under severe conditions, resists mechanical damage due to high impact loadings and withstand damage due to sudden change in temperature.

It is recommended for flooring and bund area, towers and columns, vessels and tanks etc.

ACID RESISTANT CARBON BRICK

Owing to its chemical inertness, and ability to be produced to close dimensional tolerances, carbon is an ideal material for lining process vessels where severe chemical or physical operating conditions are encountered.

Carbon brick linings are used exclusively where fluorides and hydrofluoric acid are encountered, due to their ability to resist chemical attack from fluoride solutions – for example, phosphoric acid production.

It resistance to practically all corrosive inorganic chemicals, except those which are strongly oxidising, such as oleum, concentrated chromic acid and concentrated nitric.
Will resist concentrated boiling hydrofluoric acid.

ACID RESISTANT TILE

Acid resistant tiles are acid resistant, heavy duty ceramic tiles manufactured to provide chemical and wear resistant floors and linings for chemical, food & beverage plants in conjunction with Erocare acid resistant fixing materials.

It resistant to most acids (except hydrofluoric), alkalis, solvents, oils, fats and cleaning solutions. It has low water absorption to resist the penetration of strong chemicals and to ensure hygiene in food applications.

Low absorption rates are essential to ensure dangerous chemicals do not penetrate the ceramic lining systems. Acid tiles are available in a multitude of special size to ensure complex and sometimes very large shapes can be lined in a manner maximising chemical and abrasion resistance.

Acid tiles are commonly much thicker then conventional tiles. Typical acid tiles are up to 20 mm thick, whereas most commercial floor tiles are 5–9 mm thick only. This additional thickness contributes to high strength and a highly chemical resistant ceramic lining capability.

EPOXY RESIN BASED TILE GROUT

EROPOXY -100 is three components consist of Epoxy resin, hardener and chemical resistant silica filler based Epoxy with a high degree of resistance to chemical attack, abrasion and impact. It is used for grouting glazed tiles, mosaic, vitrified and fully vitrified tiles, ceramic tiles, industrial tiles, granites, marbles and natural stones etc. It is hygienic chemical resistant stain and bacterial resistant.

EROPOXY -100 shall meet the requirements as per EN 13888.

CASHEW NUT SHELL LIQUID BASED ACID PROOF CEMENT

ERO-CNSL is two component Cashew Nut Shall Liquide resin and silica based acid resisting Cement. It is non-porous, Self-hardening and relatively plastic in nature.
This cement is resistant to mixed alkaline solutions with acids and water, but this cement is not recommended for certain solvents, oils and in solutions where temperature is more than 90° C.

ERO-CNSL is not recommended for resisting aromatic Solvents.

ERO-CNSL shall meet the requirements as per IS:4453 (1967).

POTASSIUM SILICATE BASED ACID PROOF CEMENT

Ero-KSW is a two components Potassium Silicate based acid resisting cement. Ero-KSW used with acid resistant tile/brick for acid resisting masonry construction due to very low cost.

It is highly recommended in chimney, incinerators and other high temperature equipment. It has excellent resistance to 98% Sulfuric Acid, concentrated Nitric Acid.
ERO-KSW shall meet the requirements as per as per IS:4832 (Part I) (1981).

FURAN BASED RESIN, SILICEOUS ACID PROOF CEMENT

Erocin is two components Furan resin based siliceous acid proof cement consisting of powder and solution, which is used for bonding acid resisting bricks and tiles. Erocin is resistant to wide range of Acids, Alkalis, Solvents and Oils within its chemical resistance range up to 180° C.

Erocin cement mostly used in acid resistant masonry in reactor/equipment lining. Owing to safer use and better shelf compared to phenolic resin cements, it is increasingly being used and specified for acid resistant lining applications.

EROCIN shall meet requirements as per IS:4832 (Part II) (1981).

FURAN BASED RESIN, CARBON FILLED ACID PROOF CEMENT

A special grade called Erocin-C, Furan resin based carbon filled acid proof cement is also available having all the properties of the normal Erocin grade cement, but in addition to the above it is resistant to Hydrofluoric Acid, Fluoride Salts and strong alkalis while using Carbon bricks.

EROCIN-C shall meet requirements as per IS:4832 (Part II) (1981).
